27 Apr Moments Made Together
When Luka first joined us earth side and I was a brand new Mama, we would spend hours laying around in bed getting to know one another – resting, feeding, chatting away. It was one of my favourite parts of the day and something I already miss.
We still laze around in our PJs but it’s not quite as serene with a crazy, active toddler. That said, it’s these simple things that are the very best and how I love to spend my Mother’s Day. Nothing beats starting my Mother’s Day in our PJs with coffees, mags and giggles in bed.
Aside from experience gifts (think massages or movie tickets), I think beautiful lifestyle gifts are the ultimate and they are also available at a number of price points to suit your needs. I remember often buying my Mum beautiful sleepwear for Mother’s Day and it’s something that has become somewhat a tradition in our family.
Some of my gift ideas for Mothers Day (and the things I’d like for myself), featured in our beautiful shoot are below. All products are available from your local Vicinity Centre.
Takeaway coffee mugs from Typo– perfect for the coffee loving Mama and great for our environment too! Shop here.
Adairs pillow cases (or cushions) – because we can never have enough cushions, ever. Shop here.
Beautiful cookbooks (I am a total Donna Hay tragic) – Basics To Brilliance and loads of other titles from David Jones. Shop here.
Serving spoons from Country Road because they’re oh so pretty! Shop here.
Pampering body cream from Grown Alchemist, available at David Jones, because we rarely treat ourselves to such luxuries. Shop here.
I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with my boys this Mother’s Day and enjoying the small things. I’d love to hear your traditions and wish-list.
