24 Nov MOOGOO – all natural skincare for the whole fam x
As I get older and possibly wiser (the jury is still out on this one!), I have become much more conscious of what I, and our family, use on our skin. For me, the less ingredients and the closer they are to their natural state the better. So when I came across MooGoo Skincare, an Australian company with a range of natural and gentle products that are made with effective ingredients, it definitely had my interest.
I also LOVE to find a brand that caters for both Mama + Mini, creating natural products sensitive enough for the whole family.
We recently took the Baby Travel Pack on our mini vacay to the Bellarine Peninsula and I am really impressed with the Nappy Balm + Soothing MSM cream, the consistency was great and there was hardly any scent which I really like. The super cute Moo toy was always a welcome distraction whilst trying to wrangle with a 2-year old to get his nappy on! Mini loves bath time and there ain’t no bath without bubbles. And it’s actually really difficult to find decent bubble bath which is not full of strange, un-pronounceable chemicals so the bulk pump pack was a must for us.
We’re sticklers for slip slop slap and as the weather starts to warm up (albeit very slowly, thanks Melbourne) we’re getting the sunscreen out every morning. The natural SPF40 sunscreen is perfect for us all and I love the convenience of just having one sunscreen which is suitable for children + adults.
Having a little, one other thing we always use in our household is antibacterial hand-moisturiser or sanitiser (we have some by the nappy change table, kitchen sink and family bathroom). Packed with natural ingredients, this is one we can all use. Whenever I pop it on, Luka points at the bottle and says “sani” so it’s nice I can also give him some (seriously … how grubby are little boys??) and he’ll rub his hands together, clap and explain “ta-da!”.
So for us, MooGoo ticks heaps of boxes – Australian made, natural, effective and suitable for the whole family with an affordable price point. Doesn’t really get much easier than that x
