‘The Alpha’ candles by LOVE LUDIE

styled together with RUSSH Magazine || AN ORGANISED LIFE diary || GROWN ALCHEMIST products || PRINT by Andy Csinger (@andicsinger) in a COUNTRY ROAD frame and NEON & NEST concrete planter available at CABIN & COVE

I first came across Jenna, Creative Director at Love Ludie via a connection from fellow blogger and mega hottie Josie Barber of By Barber  I was immediately drawn to the design and aesthetic of the Love Ludie brand and fell in love with Jenna’s handiwork.  It wasn’t until I worked with my first batch of Love Ludie candles (styling the new Flinders Keepers Preview for the Bowerbird Group) to I also came to learn of their quality, burn time and delectable scents.  I am, to this day, a die hard fan of Cucumber + Rockmelon!

Alpha, styled here, is a new addition to the growing Love Ludie collection and is not only super easy to style for a clean, minimalist and monochrome look (love, love and love), it smells incredible and would make an amazing Christmas Gift!! (as would many of the other products featured above).

Before I leave you to check out the Love Ludie website, a few words from the superstar herself … Love Ludie are hand poured in Torquay, Victoria and this is what Jenna has to say about how Love Ludie came about and what inspired her:

“I created Love Ludie out of the love of creating things in my imagination…Ludie was the name of my imaginary friend when I was little and despite having 2 sisters I would make, draw, paint and create things with Ludie.

I started doing candles and having the desire to do something more when my dad passed away – I found that drawing and painting would help me…..I decided to start making candles one day at work so I bought all the stuff and taught myself.

With the overwhelming response I got from the designs I decided to start my own brand – and the name was a no brainer  It was all a result of my inner creativity just like Ludie was…so the brand became…LOVE Ludie”.
